BPOC worked with the Veterans Museum at Balboa Park to redesign their website, The museum wanted a site that served its needs and showcased its content in a user-friendly way. The final product was a website in Drupal 7 that was modern, responsive, manageable, and showcased the museum's diverse content.

The Veterans Museum at Balboa Park honors the men and women who served their their country in the U.S. Armed Forces and Wartime Merchant Marines by documenting their contributions and experiences and preserving their legacy for future generations through their individual stories. The museum wanted a website that was user-friendly, responsive, and easy for their small team to update and maintain. Additionally, the museum decided that their content goals included highlighting events, encouraging visits, and providing documentation for researchers. BPOC recommended Drupal 7 as a platform capable of achieving all these goals.

The final version of has a clean, responsive design that accommodates the increasing number of site visitors on smart phones and tablets. The site’s banner images quickly show off the museum’s various programs and exhibitions. The website includes a user-friendly calendar, the ability for the museum to design and collect information through webforms, and pages that accommodate the clean presentation of a large variety of research information. The redesigned website gives the museum a rightful place along its peer institutions in the online world.
